The apartment can be found in a old period villa, about 100m above sea level on the headland of Falconara behind the old village of San Terenzo.
The house is in a very sunny residential area and looks out over the “Golfo dei Poeti”
The nearest amenities can be found in Pozzuolo which can easily be reached on foot in just a few minutes (there’s a bar, newsagent’s/ tobacconist’s) or otherwise in the village of San Terenzo . It is easy to get to San Terenzo, there’s a path which leads directly down to main square ( 5 minutes to get down, 15 to get back up) Along the sea front in San Terenzo are all the amenities you would expect to find in a small modern town. There is a well stocked supermarket with a big car park about 1km from the house which is easily reachable by car.
The nearest beaches are in Baia Blu and San Terenzo. San Terenzo has two beaches both along the promenade. The beach behind the castle is completely free whereas the one by the marina is free but there is also the possibility of renting beach equipment. There is a beautiful 1.5km walk along the sea front from San Terenzo to the nearby town of Lerici.
The Baia Blu beach is divided in half. Half is a free beach and the other half belongs to the beach resort where, as well as being able to rent beach umbrellas and sun beds there is also a bar, swimming pool, restaurant and pizzeria.
You can get to the Baia Blu beach from the house by walking down the hill for about 1000m, or by car, parking in the spaces indicated in the information booklet.
It is possible to use the beach’s little shuttle bus from the car park in front of the house. It costs 0.50 per person.
DESCRIPTION
The apartment takes up the whole of the ground floor and half looks out over the sea the other half over a wide 60sqm porch. There is also a garden below the house.
The house has an entrance hall with a single sofa bed, a living room with a fireplace and a double sofa bed. A double bedroom and a single bedroom. Two bathrooms one with a shower and one with a shower and bath and a large kitchen. From the kitchen you can go out onto the terrace where there is a sun umbrella and hammock and a nice area to sit and have a chat.
The car park is 200m away. The entrance to the house is along a path with a few steps. To unload suitcases you can stop within 20m of the house.
